minor bug - server working directory & log file
I installed TeamSpeak 2 Server into D:\TeamSpeak2.
After the installation was finished, I ran the server then went to check the log file to obtain the admin password, only to discover that there was no log file. This made logging in to administer the server quite difficult :-)
What had actually happened was that instead of creating server.log in the same directory as the TSS2 executable, it was created in C:\Windows.
Bringing up the properties for the shortcut to the TSS2 executable that was on my start menu, and changing the 'start in' path to D:\TeamSpeak2 corrected the problem.
So it's a slight bug with either the server or the installer - either the server needs to check the location of the executable to ensure it places the log file in the correct directory, or the installation program needs to create the shortcut to the executable with a 'start in' working directory set.
By the way, I'm running Windows 98 SE, version 4.10.2222 A.
