Home Cable/DSL Routers & Switches.. Good ones?

Hey there ya'll. I'm curious to know if anyone has found a really good home cable/dsl router & switch. Currentlly I have a linksys and its a pain in my rear, it constantlly loses connection with the dhcp of my cable modem and drops everyone off the net.

My nephue has the netgear router, and he's constantlly dropped for our teams TS server.

So I'm just curious, is there a home cable/dsl router that one really recommends? I'm sick of all the problems with these 2, and I'm looking to get a new one, problem is, I have no clue on who else to try, and was hoping that someone here could possiblly help me with that.

some of the higher priced netgears are nice i dont remember any model numbers off the top of my head but they do stateful inspection which is nice to have. SMC barricade is not bad make sure you read the manual and have it handy anytime you need to make a change.

I've got a DLink 704 that have gone almost 24/7 since a year back.

The occasional restart due to adsl-dropout, but that's about it.
