WIN2k Server / Linksys Router Problem
Ok, here is the deal.. I have a server behind a linksys router, that is hooked up to a cable modem with a static ip.
1. I can connect to the TeamSpeak 2 server from my computer. My computer has its own public ip and can connect fine to any teamspeak server.
2. I have another computer that is behind a linksys router on a seperate network. If I try to connect to my servers static ip using teamspeak it will not connect, however it will connect to other teamspeak servers on the net.
3. My friend accross town is also behind a dlink router, he can connect to other teamspeak servers but can not connect to mine.
so whats the deal? users behind firewalls can not connect to my server but they can connect to others.. I have both udp and and tcp ports 8765-8770 (Just to test) forwarded to my teamspeak server. .
it seem there is something missing or needed for a user that is behind a firewall to connect to my server.
Any help or suggestions would be great! Thanks.

If you forward port 8767 UDP to your server ie:192.168.1.100
Then make sure your firewalls are set or turned off for testing.
Give out your external IP for others to join. You should be able to join also on your external IP address... That is how mine is setup and it works well...
