Socket Error
Hello, I am currently running a TS server on my network and after a couple of days of reading the forums I finally got everything set up right with my routers firewall and such. I have had a few different friends connect to it and know that it is up and running fine now. But last night a friend gave me a call and he can't connect, when he tries he gets a Socket Error msg? This is something I haven't seen anywhere in the forums yet. We both have the latest versions of the client and server. He is using a lower end IBM laptop connected to a router/dsl modem in one. And a Mac is connected to that router/modem as well. He can connect to the internet just fine, but every time he tries my server he get's the socket error. Is that something on my side or his? Thanks in advance everyone.

1) there are houndrets or even thousand posts to socket errors !!!!
you need to search for the socket error number your frien gets. please do this search before you post, everything else is considered rude !
Google will also tell you what the socket error means your friend gets.
