TCP UDP ports TS2??? the right one plz!
witch port do i had to forward? my client in my home-network can't setup or find the server..
already forward port TCP 8766 and UDP 8767 to my client!
is this correct? is there anything more i had to do?
In the support meny in teamspeak site it says that 8765 is the TCP port and 8766 is the UDP as default.., but with my server-log file it has the other ports that said erlier typed in..
which one will i choose??
no firewall, no router
thanx

those ports are from TS 1
these are the ports used by TS 2.0
TeamSpeak Server is using the following ports:
8767 UDP, Server
location at server.ini: ServerUDPPort=8767
14534 TCP, WebInterface
location at server.ini: HTTPServer Port=14534
51234 TCP, tcpquery port
location at server.ini: TCPQueryPort=51234
To get server to work behind firewall, nat, masq you
need only to open/forward the 8767 port.

a little bit confused now...
I still had/have problems seting upt the TS 2 server (Ts 1 worked fine). Now I read that in TS 2 only one port (UDP 8767) must be forwarded to the server IP (I use a router with NAT).
How does connectiong to the server works ? Over the UPD port 8767 ?

correct the other two ports are used for remote administration. one for the webinterface and the other for the tcp query.

What about this scenario
2 machines behind a firewall doing IP Masq... both needing to connect to TS Server on the net?
Which machine should we forward port 8767 for us both to be able to use it?
Please contact Deef@the-endless.org if there is some fix for this problem...
Thx

You only need to forward the port (8767 UDP) from NAT/IP Masq if running a server. You do not need to forward the port if you are the client.
