I am having the same problems. The server works fine, and then all of the sudden the admin pw is incorrect, and it loses all of the reg users names and pw's also. I don't quite understand it. Sometimes reinstalling works, other times it doesn't. I though it was because I was on win2k but looks like im not the only person having this problem

I have do a search on the disk for SERVER.LOG and i have found 4 location of the file.
I have try all other password on each file and i finaly found one working. BUT WHAT THE HELL THIS FILE WAS DOING UNDER MY WINDOWS2000 ADMINISTRATOR COMMUN FILE????
Even if the password seams to be good , but TS2 server can't find the HTML page , it seams to search those page where the server.log is but in fact those page are on the TS2 directory.
I give up
word to the creator ---------------> before publish somethings .... try it and fix it , btw a MANUAL OF HOW IT WORK should be intelligent.

you need to correct the startin properties of the shortcut. right click on the shortcut that TS 2.0 server made on your desktop and hrm bah easier to just delete the shortcut the open explorer and goto the directory you installed TS 2.server to and create a new shortcut.

How would updating the shortcut help anything? If the server.log is in a different directory other then the one TS Server is installed to? And why would only machines running win2k have a problem where TS 2.0 just forgets all the pw's? Is this a known bug or something new?

LTD spike , i don't know.
I have just delete all SHORTCUT of TS2server , in start menu include , after that i have create a shortcut on the directory of TS2 and i ran the program whit the shortcut on the TS2 , and all work .
It seams that TS2 save server.log , server.ini and server.db from where it was open , its a funny bug trought...

Solved that: The icon that TS2 Server createas at the desktop is the problem. When you start over these, TS2 creates a new server.db and server.ini at the desktop.Originally posted by Matrf

Solution: Delete this and make a new yourself by drag and drop the server_windows.exe to the deskttop. This icon will work.
