how to webadmin remotely
I've ran into a problem with a remotely hosted TS server on a windows pc .I try the local host address in IE but get page not found
, before I had it on my pc & could log into it with no problems . What am I doin wrong ?

is the remote admin port open in the servers router ?

A local host address will only work for services running on your PC. You need the remote host address. If the machine is on your local network then you can use a LAN host address usually found in either your router or the IP settings of the remote server.

where is the remote host address found ? I have had a friend who connected to the server admin remotely about 3 months ago . When he got in it was hosted on my pc (cable modem) & this is on another (dsl modem) . Will this cause problems ? It sometimes has errors in normal connection .
