after few seconds when i connect Connection timed out

As the title says, after i connected i get an Connection timed out and then i can rejoin immidietly but then i get an Connection timed out again :S
Maybe it's got something to do with the channel because I don't know how to make an channel to the new server... Anyone an idea, thank you.

- set client into debug mode and try again
- anything interesting in the log file
- does this happens only on this specific server (where does the server runs)
- bad connection to the server (high ping, packet loss,..)

i only made 1 server but i cant get it up... still getting after a few seconds timed out

Did you tryed what I recommended ?

Is this server situated in your own LAN ? Are you using the LAN IP to connect to it ?

no i have an server at someones home, i connect to his ip threw an domain name. So its no lan... maybe its the ping but i don't think so because its only 1 server... It should of work i gues...

A friend of mine has the same problem : Server timed out.
I have the server running on my pc.
Others can connect.
What can he (or i) do to make it work?
