TS1 is lagging with Day of Defeat

I'm playing DoD with a clan and we are using TeamSpeak 1 (TS2 just won't do the trick - yet).
The dedicated server is hosted on a computer/connection which is used for nothing but TS, the connection is 10mbit.

Well, to the problem, before we start a game with the clan we all talk in TS with no problem. But as soon as I start Day of Defeat the voicecom starts to lagg really bad, I can't hear a word from my team mates and they can't hear me.
Though they can talk to eachother, I'm the onlyone with the problem.

I got the best connection (2.4/0.75Mbit ADSL) and the best computer (P4 2ghz, 512DDR, GF3) in the entire clan, so I don't understand why I should have the problem.
Also, I use Windows 2000 Sp3.

first things i would try (which you may have already) is change from direct sound and wave to see what effect if any that has on your choppiness. change the priority, goto settings->options->other and change process priority to high if neither of these work try the newest version 2.0.20.20 and try those again

Tried the wave - direct stuff but the priority thingys I haven't touched... I'll do that first thing in the morning.

I'm sorry if I totaly wrecked your day with this question... Since TS2 really needs all the support and developement it can get, it was stupid to post something regarding TS1.

Terribly sorry, please spend your time at TS2 so it can be used properly.
