I have my server up but..
I have my server up but I can't connect to it...
I tell me someting like this :
[11:26:26] Connecting to 24.201.109.165:8767
[11:26:29] No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it
but the server is online and on my computer..

yes the port your useing is 8767 BUT did you log in to the routers interface and open port 8767 udp in the port fowarding tab of the router ? to allow teamspeak to flow thru the router unstoped . the error your getting is 95% of the time is the router port is not open ! and you jion with the lan ip most likely 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x these are lan only ip and dont go past the router at any time

Ok, so open up Internet Explorer (or any other browser, but not 100% sure about that). And where you usually type in the web addresse, you type in: http://192.168.18.1
If that link doesn't work, then go to (Windows XP only) My Computer>My Network Places>View Network Connections
There should be a Local Area Connection Icon appearing (the connection linking your PC with the router).
Double click that, in the window that popped up and go to the Support tab. Type in the number in the Internet explorer that show up with "Default Gateway".
So after you typed in 192.168.18.1 in the browser a security window should appear, leave the username slot empty and type in the password (case sensitive): "admin" in. Attention! If that password doesn't work then check your router manual for the correct one.
This will open up the Port Range Forwarding page. This is the page where you will open the actual ports. Click in the first box in the first row under 'Ext. Port' and type 8767. Go to the next box and put 8768. Then check BOTH the TCP and UDP protocol, and type in the last 3 digits of the IP you wrote down before. Then, obviously, click the 'Enable' button.
Repeat the process for the next range of ports, click the first 'Ext. Port' button in the second row, type 6881 for the first number, and 6889 for the second number. Then check TCP/UDP boxes, type the same last 3 digits on the IP and click enable.
Then click the apply button and wait the 5 seconds for the page to reload. Then reboot your computer and begin the download. You should (assuming your broadband connection isn't limited by the ISP) see significantly better download speeds!
If you don't have a Linksys router- I would call the supplier of the router and ask for instructions on how to open the ports listed and if that fails call your ISP and ask if there's some limitation on your bandwidth.

default ip for routers is 192.168.1.1 not 16.1
and the server only needs 8767 udp !!!! not any others

how do you expect support where we get NO information from you, beside your link isn't working so do not expect anything.
Beside port forwarding has been explained to you in more detail then in most other threads, so don't complain !

Guys I have followed the many threads and posts to understand how to open port forwarding. I have opened my port 8767 UDP, but still none can connect to my server and neither can I connect. We are using my WAN ip to connect. Obviously I can connect to my LAN Ip, but this is confusing as to why I can't connect to my WAN ip. I have a static Ip, does that make any difference? Or am I missing something?
IPs: 192.168.2.100
68.209.142.150
OP: XP
Router: Linksys BEFSR41
Any more ideas or sugguestions?

those inside the lan conect to the lan ip , restrictions of routers ! all others outside the lan use realword ip ! dont worry about way , just deal with it , thats the way things are !
