Bug?
OK...
Yesterday i opened up the webadmin interface, no SSA, just regular SA login.
( Runs on Win32 )
I removed permissions from "Registered" users, ( Create R Chan, Create M Chan, Create U Chan).
What happened:
All SA"s permissions got removed. ( I had that window open in the background.)
I tried to retry this bug this morning on my own server ( Linux ).
I couldent get that bug back again. ( As it seemed )
After several attempts i gave up trying to reproduce the bug.
I got a mate on ts2, then he started shouting he couldent switch channels.
Then i found out ALL "Registered" rights were removed. (While i only removed the chan creation rights.).
The bug is hard to reproduce... but i was able to do it again..
Just in clarity:
I had Registed rights open
I had Server Admin rights open
I unchecked the :
- Create Channel Registered
- Create Channel Moderated
- Create Channel Unregistered
In Registered rights, ALL Server Admin rights got removed.
Edit:
Searched on forums, found out a guy who had the same problem aswell:
http://forum.goteamspeak.com/showthr...rights+removed
Check his 2nd statement..Last edited by Li_Icekiller; 08-08-2004 at 16:15.

sorry, I can't understand that... does that mean you opened the web-interface several times? like one window showing the registered-user-permissions and another the serveradmin-permissions?
Also did you click on the "save" button in both windows?
so a more detailed step-by-step explanation would be cool...
also you could read the forum rules as I don't want to ask all the unanswered questions... again...

Sorry, had to post in a rush...
Windows Server: ( First contact with the bug ).
What i did was...
I opened up the webinterface, and i opened another window, showing SA permissions.
I started working on the "Registered" users permissions.
( Removed those channel rights i mentioned earlier ).
Then suddenly after a few mins i hear people on teamspeak ( Server Admins ) shouting what the hell happened.. Can't do a thing.
I checked Info -> Show Permissions, saw that ALL SA rights were gone.
Attempt to try the bug again ( Linux )
Did the exact same, seemed like it didnt work.
So i just kept clicking and removing some rights, but making sure when i was, there were some rights, so i could check for bugs.
After a few attempts i gave up, thinking i couldent get it back.
Then on my own teamspeak someone got on, then saying he couldent switch channels.
I checked, all Registered user permissions vanished...
I will attempt to do this bug again, to make a very clear description on how to get it.
Edit1: No, i only clicked on the save button in the "Registered" permissions.
Edit2:Yes
