    Connection timed out error?

Hi guys what my problem is whenever I join a teamspeak server I will either A: Only see the channels and then immedietly get kicked out with the connection timed out error or B: be able to talk for about 5 min and then get kicked out with the same error. Any idea on how to fix this problem? Thanks

try dleating the teamspeak.conf file .it's a hidden file so you need to allow it in folder options "show hidde files" befor you can find it . this deleats all your saved info so make sure you dont need any info in your local address book befor hand !

I deleted the file, but it didn't fix my problem.

Here is a better description of my problem:

I have 3 servers running, but only one started giving me a problem.

If I put in the network (ip assigned by the router) IP:port, they all work fine.

If I put in my IP:port, I can get into 2 of them ok. The one on the default port tells me I have been diconnected from the server (connection timed out). If I try a second time, it tells "username already logged in to the server".

It just started doing this though out of the blue.

can you please speak in "LAN" and "WAN" IP's ? If you're trying to use the WAN IP withing your own LAN, you could experience similar problems

=> ONLY use the LAN IP within the LAN !

Sorry I din't use the correct terminology

Yes...when I use the LAN IP it works no problem. I was just stumped because I have always used the WAN IP and it stopped working out of the blue.

    Thank you...I appreciate everyone's help!

I was having the same problem, but now it seems to have progressed to the point that, my client won't even see any servers, it simply tells me that the server could not be found and that the server may not be online or it may not be running Team Speak.

I've double and triple checked my connection info, and I know that there are people on the server when I try to connect.

I'm running WindowsXP Home edition(All updates but the new SP2 are installed) on an Intel Pentium4 1.6gig machine, with a sound blaster live sound card with the most recent drivers and I just reformatted it less than a month ago. I have DirectX 8.1 installed as well. The machine is running Team Speak 2 2.0.32.60. This machine has run Team Speak for over a year and a half without any problems.

I recently moved into residence at the university that I'm attending, and Team Speak was working without any problems far about a week, when I developped the time out problem, although, if I left it reconnecting, I could connect after about ten minutes of trying. I called and confirmed with the university that they haven't changed any of the network settings since I moved in.

I run McAfee Anti-Virus and Firewall, although, Team Speak was always able to run with them up, even though I disable them before logging onto the team speak server, and playing any games.

I have tried a reinstall, deleting the teamspeak.conf file and reinstalling all with no success.

I think that just about covers everything, if I missed any information, let me know.

if you get a no replay from server then I must assume you're having a network problem either by a wrong IPort or a firewall. Can you scann the IP of the TS server, do you see an open TS server port ?

A friend of mine suggested repairing my lan connection and that fixed the problem of not seeing the server but, I still have the time out error.

I can see the main server title, right when I connect but it's as if the server doesn't finish loading and logging me on, before I get timed out.
