Some help with keybindings..?

Just having a weird problem here. Maybe it's known (search didn't turn up anything relevant), maybe not, maybe it's just the way it is until TS3.. anyway, here's the skinny.

If I bind any key, lets say F9 for now, then binding anything + F9.. Ctrl-F9 for example, will sometimes trigger the proper bind, and sometimes the plain F9 bind. Most times it seems to just switch back and forth between the two.

Not a major problem in my case mind you, but I'd certainly like to know if there is a fix or workaround for this.. makes the multi-key bindings fairly pointless I think.

I don't know if this will help, but ...

I have keys bound for one function then "+ Shift" for another function. One thing I noticed is that the order can make a difference. Ie, "1 + Shift" works but "Shift + 1" doesn't seem to.

The other thing is that I have to press the keys in the same order as they are bound otherwise it doesn't work. In my case I press "1" to whisper to a channel and "1 + Shift" (in that order, ie, hit "1" and hold THEN press "Shift" ) to change to that channel.

So it's like you have to do the first action before you can do the second. Which brings us right back where we started

you do not need to press 2 or 3 key's you only need 1.lol on the first one that say's Set, click set and enter that letter or what have ya. But remind you that you CAN NOT use the same key twice. Example you have You're main transmeting key then if you want to add a chanel or whisper to someone you need a diffrent key. Do not duplicate any button's.

I have most of my keybinds bound to two keypresses to avoid accidently transmitting or changing channels while I'm in the thick of battle.

It can be very advantagous to map the same key multiple times in teamspeak. For example, you can map the same key for the same subchannel in every channel family. Teamspeak was designed to do this since, in order to switch to a subchannel of a different channel family, you must switch to the parent channel first.

Say your server has 10 channel families of 10 subchannels each. You keybind your parent channels 1-10 with "/ + (1-10)" then you keybind the subchannels of each family with "* + (1-10)". Now, with one hand, you can switch to any of the 110 channels on the server with only 12 different keys.
