TS Script working for a while and now its not (please help)
I've been using a Teamspeak script (Think it's been developed by Gryphon) for some while now and it has worked fine, always did the job hence was very happy with the result.
then a few days ago I click on the script and it showed the server offline
http://www.darkaffinity.com/index.ph...pper&Itemid=38
I can assure you I have not changed anything on the script nor has anyone else for that matter, so decided to take it up with the people whom host our TS server.
They assured me nothing has changed for at least 30 days, and even kindly restarted the server just to make sure it was'nt a memory glitch or anything.
Unfortunatly we still had the same problem, so we decided to speak to our web hosters, to see if they had changed any firewall setting, again they assured me nothing had been changed and even fully opened up the ports for a short time to see if it was a firewall issue, but sadly no fix. was still showing offline even though it was physically online and working.
Stunned with this I decided to copy the scripts to a friends web server and had exactly the same issue, was showing that the server is offline.
Clutching at straws I then copied the scriptt to another web server hosted in the US... and ...
result, well kind of, if you scroll down to the bottom ignoring the Notices you will see it works.

So now i'm completly baffled and feeling somewhat robbed, not knowing why i'm getting Notice errors on one domain and also unknowing why the orignal script had stopped working thus showing the server offline on the main site.
I plead for ones help and have attached a copy of the scripts below for your own conclusion.

Cheers in advanced

Excerpt from the code:
Indeed it is, a VERY VERY VERY old version of my query script and parts and pieces of the display script and who knows what other pieces of Gryphon's stuff is there as well.Code:/** * ts2query.php - Extracts data from a running Teamspeak server via the TCP query port. * * Release date and version number: Januar 12th, 2004. Ver 0.7 * * Copyright (C) 2003 Christian Müller
Sorry, I can't provide support for a bastardized and mutilated software created from obsolete software that I once wrote and from stuff somebody else wrote.

Unsupported script
I suppose that does'nt reach the conclusion why it worked then stopped working for a unknown reason although having a unsupported bastadized hybrid of a script certainly does'nt help matters, I came across it whilst surfing the web.
So back to basics.. which script could you recomend me please that basically is supported by the goodness of your heart and simply just displays a list of players connected to a TS server?
Cheers

Took your advice but still no updates
I took your advice and have installed the latest version of Gryphons scripts (very nice I must add)
Followed all the easy to use installation guild, thus making changing to the webpost setting on teamspeak admin to point to http://www.darkaffinity.com/TS/webpost.php
But unfortunatly still having the same issue when clicking on the script below, the server is not updating.

Any help or support would be more than appriciated
Cheers

it takes 5 minutes untill changes could be senn on the script.
Change the script that it is not showing the isp - only the servers
set your path to http://www.darkaffinity.com/TS/webpost.php
Normaly that will work. But for sure give it 10 Minutes.

Help!
Thanks Crow for the help but i'm not sure I'm understanding your post correctly.

My understanding is that the webpost on teamspeak admin that now is currently pointing to http://php.gryphonllc.com/gllcts2/webpost.php , should show our server being listed on http://php.gryphonllc.com/gllcts2/listing.php after 10 mins or so, again this is not working either, so far have waited 45 mins but no server showing.
Help !!

same problem
I've also noticed from Gryphon's website his forum, people having the same issue as me, i.e my first bastadised scripts worked fine until a couple of days ago, it simply just stopped working, so maybe its not just coincidence here, Our ISP being UKhost4u and our teamspeak provider being uber1337. Something could of changed to stop this working.

global settings ?
I've looked on the teamspeak admin web panel, you refer to global settings, I see as follows :

under server specific settings --> Server Settings I can see the Server Webpost Post url with the correct url pointing to http://php.gryphonllc.com/gllcts2/webpost.php
Our server is still not showing up on Gryphons site, are there other global settings I need to change, if so where ?
Thanks

Hey Maddog,
My users also started complaining that their web posts were working and then stopped. I finally figured out the issue. The servers running Teamspeak need to have working DNS. My DNS servers had hard coded IPs and all of them had changed to different IPs. Therefore, no working DNS on the Teamspeak servers. So even though my users had a correct webpost URL entered, my machines could not do the address lookup. Therefore, it couldn't post back to the web server. Once I entered valid DNS servers and restarted Teamspeak, the posts started working again.

I had to modify my serverlist to limit it to 50 servers to keep the load down, if you are trying to add yours and the list is full it will not show up.
I sent a test query to your install at darkaffinity.com and it posted fine, the script works properly and accepts data.
Other problems that would keep your server from showing on your list are:
1. You are not correctly entering the webpost url to the teamspeak server admin panel.
2. You are entering it correctly, but your teamspeak server cannot resolve the domain for where the script it located.
