    Speakers and Mic are Muted.

I'm trying to get TeamSpeak to run in linux, but to no avail. The program loads and everything fine, but it always shows my mic and speakers as muted. My soundcard works with everything else however.

This is the error in TSClient.log after I load up:

18-12-04 01:35:19,7157,ERROR,All,TOSSioThread.Initialize,Ex ception EOSSException: OSS error in OpenSoundDevice-fullduplex (/dev/dsp): Operation not permitted

Anyone out there know how to fix this?

I had this all working before, but then I upgraded from Mandrake 10.1 Community to Official and don't remember what exactly I did to fix it before.

Do you get sound in other applications using the OSS drivers? This sounds like a permission issue (like you aren't in the group with access to the audio devices).

    Exclamation

I have the same problem I finally got the client installed after going through "installing pains" and now when I start up the client I can set a press to talk button and everything but the only problem is it's not "hearing my voice". My drivers are all installed and 'nix recognizes my sound card and i can hear myself when I talk into the mic but my voice is not going through TS. Whats the problem and how can I fix it? PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW!!!

I'm running SuSe 9.2 if it helps

    Thanks
