Memory Leak in TS2 Server
Anyone here ever had a memory leak in their Windows TS2 server?
I am running Windows 2k3 Web Edition and on startup of the TS2 server it uses around 13-15MB of RAM.
After a few weeks, it runs around 200MB of RAM and the TCP Query Port stops working. Rebooting the TS2 server fixes this issue.

MMmmGood,
Seeing your replies when someone mentions our company on these forums doesn't allow me to gain a good judge of whether or not you'd like to deal with this matter further, however, I've noticed the same thing running TS2 within certain environments including Windows.
PM me if you'd like to discuss this more.

Interesting, this seems to be a sole Windows problem. No problems with the Linux server, using Debian Woody and the libc6 from Sarge.

I've actually seen Linux servers that when running too many servers under one instance, you begin to notice errors in servers starting, connecting, etc. We then realized that you must divide large numbers of servers up between more then 1 instance. Mind you, this was running TS with MySQL support.

He is probably referring to the constact dis'sing you've been giving us in your replies. You often state that our pricing is too high etc. Which is totally not true. We are very competitively priced and offer superior service and support.
Having said that, and with the knowledge most TS users are intelligent enough to shop around for the best deal for themselves, we are more than willing to work together with anyone to help solve and understand these problems that may afflict all us ATHP's.

I think you may be confusing me with someone else. I know I have posted in some threads about peoples prices being double or triple ours, but they earned it by trying to rape their customers.

I agree with MMmmGood,
His criteria seems to be what when we experience the same thing. We have started doing server reboots on a weekly basis at 2 a.m. in the morning to clear the memory.
Thanks for looking into it.

Ralf,
We run our servers on Windows. They are actually high grade game servers that are rented from a very well respected GSP. We found that they are the best. So I'm not exactly sure what specific windows O/S is being used.
As well, we have several servers but only put a maximum of 200 virtual servers per server. We could probably add a lot more, but we do not want to crowd things and cause any degradation of service to our clients.
Most of our servers are added automatically, and we also add/remove manually to all our servers to help keep things balanced.

I might also note that we run on both RedHat 9.0 using 2.6.* kernel as well as Windows 2003 Server Web Edition ( SPLA version ).
We do not see this bug on Linux, just on Windows.
