Voice chat issues
I just installed Teamspeak 2.0 RC2 this week. I use it with UT2004. When TS is not running the ingame voice chat works just fine. When TS is running then I start a game UT voice chat does not work. When the game is running and TS is started, the mic is auto muted and I cant unmute it unless i exit the game. Either way both will not work at the same time. I have Windows 2k pro, all the updates, latest dx drivers, a 9800 pro video card, etc. So everything that i can think of is up to date. Anybody know how to fix this.
BTW my sound card is Integrated SoundMax. Not great but ive never had any probs with it.
Thx

From experience from other users of this forum:
1) Not all sound cards seem to support two recording source (especially with a cheap onboard solutions which have anyway often very bad recording features... I guess you've no chance)
2) win2k does not seems to suport two voice tools / two recordings at the same time (with only one sound card). This limitation of win seems to be "corrected" in XP.
If you wanne know more, pls do a forum search, your thread is not the first one
3) If you have two sound cards, you may use one for TS and the other for ingame voice & sound.Last edited by guldi; 05-01-2005 at 07:34.
