Can't Get TS to work past my Netgear WGT624 router. Please help.
Hey guys I hate to ask the same question I've seen alot however,
Here's what I've got, me and some friends are playing WoW and wanted to use Teamspeak, i've got two PC's at home so I figured i could set up TS on one and play on the other.
I set up the server software no problems, turn off zonealarm on the pc just to be safe and I can connect LAN wise fine.
I go into the router and port forward, 8767 to 8768, I set up port triggering UPD 8767 both going to the IP set up for the pc that has the TS server on it.
So I get my friend to download the client and he can't connect. I give him my WAN ip and he's put into the server address as xxx.xxx.x.x:8767 but can't connect.
My question is, does this sound like I've done it correctly? I've read the no reply faq along with several post on these forums over the last few days before posting this.
While not having a chance to try this yet should I give my friend the server address as WAN address/LAN address:8767 akin to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/192.168.0.2:8767 where xxx is the WAN address?
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

He must use your WAN IP like: 212.41.113.115 (just an example). The port is not required since you run on the default port.
Things you should try:
- The forwarding rule goes to the LAN IP of the PC hosting the server. This IP should not be a dynamic IP
- let your friend connect to any other TS servers. If it fails, the problem is most surely on his side (firewall,...)
- Does he get a timeout => read the no reply FAQ
- Still no go on your server but friend can connect to any other TS server => try th bindtoIP stated in the not all can connect FAQ
- still no go: a router configuration problem or a firewall

I think I've relized the problem, I had shut down zonealarm thinking ok I've turned the firewall off, however the firewall was still somehow active in blocking programs from and to the internet.
Anyway I've gotten it to work, I just had to turn zonealarm back on and give the program access again. Did it once and it didn't work the first time, kind of strange, but I deleted the program then gave it access a second time and it started working.
Thanks for the input.
