TS 1.5.0.6 not working with Urban Ops

I have TS 1.5.0.6 as that is what the rest of my clan is using and what we have had the best luck and stability with. It works in every game I have perfectly except one. When we go back to play our old game, Tom Clancy's Rogue Spear: Urban Operations I have to turn TS off because it's all scrambled in the game. I can't hear what anyone is saying, all broken up and such. If I alt-tab out then TS works just fine but when I bring the game back up again it returns to being scrambled again. No other game does this which is odd. The really strange thing is everyone else says it works for them in Urban Ops. I am running Win XP Pro and have an Audigy Gamer soundcard. Any idea why it's just this game and it's just me? Is there some setting I need to adjust somewhere?

Try running UO and TS in 98 compatibility mode. This should help you out. I'm not sure if TS has a use alernative playback option, if it does, select it.

We had the same problem with other communication software while used in conjunction with UO/XP

Oshea is right on the money, switching to compatiblity mode for Rogue Spear/Rainbow 6/Urban Ops enabled Teamspeak 2 to function correctly instead of breaking up or not working at all. Under Teamspeak 2, select settings and options, select directsound for the sound driver and raise the quality to best quality. Right click on the game .exe (ie. roguespear.exe) and select the compatibility tab. Check the "Run in compatibility mode for:" box and then select Windows 98/Windows Me under the pull down menu and press ok. This fix might work for other games that are windows 98 native too.
