I can connect w/ LAN, no one else can connect with WAN
OK, I've searched and searched this forum and can't find an answer to my problem.
I have set up my server on my pc. I have a Versalink Gateway. I have forwarded the ports on my router. You can see my server on the list. I can connect through my LAN, No one else can connect to me via WAN.
A little help please?????

Perhaps you could explain what steps you've taken so far to remedy the problem.

I was hoping that you would provide information on your network, firewall settings, and modem settings. The more information you can provide about your environment and its configuration, the easier it will be for people to help you.
Here are some questions that will hopefully get you started.
1. Have you consulted the user's manual for your modem?
2. What have you set the security level to in your modem? It must be medium or lower. (Page 57)
3. Did you set up "port forwarding ranges of ports" as opposed to "trigger ports"? You need the former for UDP 8767 if you're hosting a single instance using the default port. Also, make sure that you're forwarding packets to the correct LAN I.P. (Page 117)
4. Or are you doing static NAT? (Page 120)
5. Are you running a firewall on the machine running the TS2 Server? If so, are there any rules that could be blocking I.P.'s that aren't on your LAN?

Another common problem that people have with port forwarding is they forget to enable it after they save it. Many a time have i wanted to slap myself for doing that
