    Unhappy TS doesn't recognize Mic?

    I just installed a new Audigy 2 soundcard and installed the latest drivers (only the drivers, not the whole nasty SB package). Everything seems to be working fine, but when I use TS nobody hears me. In the selftest mode I can't hear myself either (Voice activation is not triggered at all and push to talk doesn't work either).
    I tested with Skype and that works without problems, so it can't be the mic settings.

    I also notices when I put it on Voice activation, that my green light turns on when other members say something.

    Everything worked fine with the same config before I changed the sound card.

    If anyone has any ideas I would be very greatful, because I don't like Skype with so many people.

    just a guess:
    several progs (and If I remember right, skype as well) change the sound mixer settings on their will, meaning they activate the mic when you start the programm, but disable it afterwards.

    =>

    - check if (without skyp activated) your mic is selected as the ONLY recording source in your sound mixer. Disable the mic under play back
    - ever tested in TS wave or direct sound ?

    Well I don't know what happened. When I installed the card it wouldn't work no matter what I did (restart and everything). When I came home last night it worked without changing anything, so what the problem was......

    Thanks for the help!
