Push to Talk is not working
Hello, my push to talk key will just stop working at random times during game play. The game i currently use it with is World of Warcraft. The keys i have tried binding it to are the Caps Lock, `, and Ctrl key. Numerous friends have there push to talk keys binded to these keys and no one has this problem. Sometimes i will be fine for a full gaming session. Other times a half hour into playing my push to talk key just stops working. And nothing will reactivate it unless i restart my computer. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hey cotner. i'm not support but i just saw your post after i posted a message of my own and thought i might at least try to help. I had something similar happen. Make sure that your alternate microphone doesnt automaticly check itself up in your master volume settings. mine did that for a while and when i does that your first mic wont work. thats all i can help you with.

in the bottom right corner is your task bar, click the little arrow pointing to the left and double click the speaker. then from there proceed to the options menu in the top left corner of the window that poped up, make sure advanced controls are selected and then go to properties under the same menu. then click the recording tab. and then make sure microphone is checked up in the little sub menu. Then click Ok. then when u see the meters, go to the microphone meter, click advanced options. and make sure alternate microphone is NOT checked

I'm not support, but I'll try anyway ;-)
Ok, so have you experimented with lots of different keys? Try 'alt', I was having trouble with them until I bound it to alt.
Also, make sure that WoW doesn't have anything bound to control. This could confuse the system.
And, if all else fails, you could always just try a good ol' fashion reinstall ;-)

I have used all different kinds of keys. I have also reinstalled TS about 5 times. Also i know of about 10 of my friends on WoW who all use the ctrl key and have no problems.

bumping this...still nothing is working...randomly my push to talk button is still turning itself off. The only way i can get it to work again is to reset my comp. Then no telling how long it will keep working before it just stops working again.
