Two questions on server setup and permissions
I'm pretty new to Teamspeak, but I don't just go asking questions without having a good look around for the answers, and unfortunately I haven't come across any information on this. So if anyone could tell me if the two questions below are viable that would be great.
1. Is there a way to lock nicknames with usernames when someone new registers, thus allowing it impossible for following people to register with the same nickname, posing as someone else?
2. Can I setup the server so that unregistered users cannot use audio until they are registered?
Thanks. Any help on these matters would be great.Last edited by Vendrad; 01-08-2005 at 01:55.

I am not sure about number 1, but you can do number 2. Simply make your channels moderated. Then nobody can speak in them until given the rights to do so.

Hmmm,
Technically that would work, but its not an efficient setup. I don't want to have to click (A-V), to allow people to speak. So I guess I could use some sort of auto-auto-voice, granting access to speech to all registered users. Well that would be great, but this topic has really been hammered elsewhere on the forums, and I don't want to bring it up again. I understand this cannot be done as of yet.
Thanks anyway.

1. No...
2. Deaktivate the ChannelJoinRegisterred-permission for unregistered users in your servers webinterface.
