Browser wont connect to localhost

I just downloaded and upgraded to the last version (ts2_server_rc1_2018.exe) , previous one worked well, but this one wont connect to the adminpage when i try to login.
I dont even get a popup loginbox.
My browser (IE6) displays "Website found. Waiting for reply" and does nothing after that.. so my guess is that the server didnt launched properly..

If anyone can help me out, thanks ahead

Did you highlight the server port in the login window?

It doesnt even make it to the login-window
Title of my browser says http://localhost:14534 while it tries to connect.. maybe i should try another port? Ill wait with fiddling with the ports till you say its ok, bad experience :P

Oh yes, sorry, no popup loginbox.
Cookies enabled on your IE6? Any firewall running?
No idea otherwise...

lol, dont ask, but it works now although not 100%.. i tried starting the server from the shortcut and it worked.. i always started the server directly from the exe cuz in the older versions the shortcut would never work..
weird though it wont always work, theres a 50% chance i can login when i start the app from the desktop shortcut and 0% when i start it from the exe..
