Need help on 2.0.28.31 linux server

    Hi

We are getting some reports that the 2.0.18.31 linux server is not starting for some people.

We would like to know for who it is running ok and who is having trouble.

    1. Please post if it works, or not.
    2. Kernel version
    3. Linux distro
    [edit] also add cpu [/edit]

And anything else that seems important

    by the way

It is very complicate to delete an server in an superserver with a kind of servers.
So on TCPQuery a "delserver xxxx" would be nice in final release or update.

Ok i tested on my own laptop

    300 mhz,
    suse 7.2
    2.4.16 kernel
    glibc 2.2.2

when i started it, it said "Error stating daemon. Aborted".
    But the server worked.

It seems the 5 second "work or not" timer was to short for my slow proc. So after i did that it works.

could u guys try this bin ? Just save the old "server_linux" replace it with this (set execute rights) and start using a startscript

ok for the guys where it does not work.. does a fresh install work or not? (i mean a newly extraced server. So no server.db, server.ini and server.ini)

    hi

i tried a fresh (my first install) and i got this error.
but it seems the patched binary fixes the problems.

now i can continue writing on a spec file for my suse 8.1 rpm ^^

have fun and thanks for your works guys.

    darix

p.s.: relocatable httpdocs directory would be really kind ^^.

    Patch doesnt work here, too.
The "Done" pops up too quick with the latest server_linux
