    Exclamation TS restarts my computer/bluescreens

Im having this problem with da program (on the newest version) and when I open Team Speak somtimes my computer restarts, and somtimes the program works for like 5 minutes and then restarts my computer... I know for a fact Team Speak is restarting my computer every few minutes. Iv also noticed that befor my computer restarts my sound go's to mono mode (1 speaker only works) and then restarts shorty after that. (it go's go mono mode, then the speakers stop working, and then restarts my computer...)

    1. Inhibit the reboot by configuring windows:
-> goto desktop -> right click "my compouter" -> properties -> advanced -> start & restore -> settings -> "systemerror" or "systemfailure" (dont know whoe itīs called in english) -> uncheck "automatic restart"
    2. Start TS and engage debug mode:
settings -> other -> log options -> 1st try debug and make a copy of the logfile --> TS program folder --> TSClient.log post it here in this thread.

Ok. I turned off auto shut down, and TeamSpeak works fine now, but could that hurt my computer in the long run? like lets say it over heats... ok but I put TeamSpeak on Debug mode, and that TSClient.log file doesnt have much writing in it... (all it says is...

    ---------------------------------------------------------------
    -------------- log started at 07-10-05 07:50 -------------
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

^^^ thats what the log file says...

Never mind! the program still isnt stable. I didnt fully test it when I said it worked.... now that I turned off that auto restart thing, TeamSpeak now cases my computer to do da "blue screen of death!" and it says somthing about the svmcp.sys and to check to see if you have all the updated drivers/BIOS (which I do) but teamspeak does run alittle longer with that restart thing off.Like i left TeamSpeak on while I went to school and it was fine once I got back, but once I went to option on TS it blue screened. So its stable untill you do somthing on it, and if you have teamspeak open you can't play any music for more then 15 seconds because TS is missing that up too. Over all I think this program is unstable and should be updated for all users

On the blue screen, it mentions that you should:

    • Check BIOS Updates
    • Disable BIOS Memory Options such as Caching or Shadowing
    • Enough Disk Space Avaliable
    • Update Drivers
    • Change Video Adapter

When I turn on the PC after the blue screen, Error Report comes up saying "Serious Error". I send the error report, then it sends me to THIS PAGE
    On that page it says:
A device driver installed on your computer caused the problem; however, we cannot determine the precise cause.
The link then sends you to THIS PAGE

    Found the solution.
    Just update your drivers.
    I updated audio and video.
I have nVidia and simply went to the nVidia website and downloaded it and now it works.
    Problems solved.

You also should get the latest sound dirvers. If you use onboard audio, get the latest audio driver from you motherboard manufacturer.

It looks like it uses the Realtek AC 97 onboard sound. I have a simlar board made by ASUS that was having problems until I installed the Realtek Codec. I checked Abit and didn't see an updated driver so I would check the driver CD you got at Point Of Sale, or go to realtek and download them there.
