    Mic Problem with WoW

Well I am haveing a very weird problem with TS and WoW. I just bought a new mic yesterday and hooked it up and went to test it out and it sounds fine, but if i have WoW running and try talking on TS all i can hear is like a fan on the mic type of sound and thumping. I have gone through many options and have followed many ways on here to fix this problem but nothing seems to work. I am useing onboard sound on a MSI mobo. Any idea how to fix this would be great

I have tried that and many other things and still nothing can fix it. I get the static and tumping as soon as i enter any game for some reason.

Some onboard soundcards got problems with electromagnetic shielding or too much mic plug sensivity.
The effect is hum, buzzing and sounds like fan induced crackle.

    You might:
    1. disengage the onboard sound and use a PCI soundcard (a cheap one is sufficient)
    2. use different (shielded) cable for mic or waiver of an extension cable
