Push to talk key troubles with joystick?

Push to talk key for teamspeak on Steering Wheel? Does anybody know of a program that will work on my black momo racing wheel for the game - Nascar Racing 2003 Season by papyrus.

I know theres got to be a program out there that you can edit your buttons on the wheel so you can use them for team chat's and a push to talk key.(or else the buttons wouldn't be on the wheel) just haven't found anything on this subject yet.

The trouble I am having is I reach for my keyboad to use the push to talk key on my keyboard during the race and it take's my focus off of the moniter and I end up losing concentration and valuable time on the track.

A guy in our league has tried adding one to the wheel by taking apart the keyboard and sautering wire running through a key(for instance left ctrl) in the keyboard and running the wire up to his wheel. It worked and all except when he sautered the wires to the control key but it disabled some other valuable keys on the keyboard . This would work fine but I figured theres someone out there that has the same problem as me.

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated! Thanks for your time.

I don’t know how the application work for your wheel, but I have a Logitech joystick (that I use in BF2) and it the config program to it you can assign key-b keys to buttons on the joystick. So if I press down joystick button 6 it acts as key-b key [num-pad 0] which I use to activate my “Push to talk” in ts. .. is this what your looking for?

    MOMO Wheel and TS-2

I am also having a problem 'mapping' my MOMO wheel to push-to-talk with TeamSpeak. I set Teamspeak p-t-t key to 'z',,, then in Logitech profiler , assigned button 3, to letter 'z'.
Tried the keystroke, and Command line, setup,, with and without pause,,,, 3 button will not electronically push 'z' key on keyboard. Got all other buttons/flippers mapped to some F1 , F2, etc; keys, and other buttons for autochat,,, but the p-t-t action to Teamspeak will not work from wheel button 3. 3 button works fine when mapped to other tasks. Z key hit manually on keyboard, will p-t-t Teamspeak fine. Tried MOMO 3 button pointed to F-11 key and F-11 selected as p-t-t key stroke in T-Speak,,, still no good. Must be a secret recipe out there somewhere.
