TS on paid for server???
is it possible to put the teamspeak server on a server that i pay for?? and how would i go about doing this i cannot see a post but if you could point me in the right direction or help me out i would be greatfull as i want this up 24/7 whereas when on home computer its only on when im up

Of course you can.
Your questions refers if you have to pay for a licence, if you donīt make any money with the server you are free to do with it what you want.
I guess you donīt have a company wich you use the TS server for.
Look here for further examples of licence constraint.

no its not part of a company its for friends but i dont have a clue how to set it up and i just wondered if there is a manual anywhere that can tell you how to put it on a paid for server as i cannot install programs because i dont own the server

You need remote access to install it.
Ask the one who rented the server what you need to install it. Or ask him to do it, you can configure the server by webpanel access.
Make shure to open Port UDP 8767 (voice) and TCP 14534 (webpanel).
