Mouse Button5 Function
I know there have been other posts asking this question but I'm going to ask anyway.
I've used teamspeak for years probally around 5 years... or 4 can't remember exactly, at anyrate the biggest reason I always liked it besides quality was the fact that Mouse button 5 was recognized. I had to install windows fresh today and I installed the latest version of teamspeak, and low and behold Mouse5 is no longer recognized neither is mouse4. I have the latest drivers for my mouse installed, all the button functions work in my browsers, back and forth but in teamspeak it will not work.
I almost had the problem fixed I changed the button functionality so that it would be program specific and chose teamspeak , binding the key I wanted to use to Alt so I could hit the mouse button and it would be recognized as alt in teamspeak. The only problem with this is when teamspeak is no longer the window I am active in the bind stops working and will not work until I exit the program and rebind the key, so this obviously will not do it (i tried with other buttons besides alt same results). The bind however will still work if I hit lets say P for talk it will work inside and out of the program just not form the mouse(this could be an issue with the program specific function ont he mouse) So what I was wondering is did teamspeak change so that this functionality is no longer working? Are there any fixes to make it so my mouse5 button will work again? Or are there any quick fixes that work like my program specific function with my mouse.
Any constructive input would be nice.
Thank you.
