Webpost, Scripts question
Hi all,
Since about 11 am this morning, Dec. 29, 2005. I have been attempting to get a single post script to work on my website for my clan. I have uploaded, installed, deleted, configured, etc etc and I cannot for the life of me get a single one to work. I've noticed a really bad loack of support for most, NOT ALL, of the scripts located here and I was hoping someone could help me get some of this straight.
I have a hosted TS2 server (latest version). I can telnet to the query port, I have the ip address and port number for transfer correct. The closest I have come to a working script is the PHP script by niklas. I continually get a couldn't connect to server message I cannot get past.
My questions are
1. Is there an explanation anywhere on how to set up webpost. All the links in the help files are non working, and there is NO information on what these settinge mean in the manual. i.e. what is the difference between webpost POSTURL and webpost LINKURL ?
2. Is there anyone here who can tell me if I need to have a webpost.php file in the PHP_TS2 program ? Or is there another file I need to point my server to ?
3. I have PHP and Mysql access on my website host. Is there a step by step guide for any of these addons ? Gryphons is very nice but I only have one TS server to track and it's rather bulky when I only want a simple display.
4. Is there a step by step guide for using the webpost supplied with TS2 ? As I've said the manual I downloaded is about worthless on explanations.
5. Is there a port or external program that will allow me to reproduce what tsviewer.de has on their website ? When I input my site there it DOES show up so i know there isn't something blocking my servers information.
Thank you all very much I hope this was informative enough in my questions

When I go to the site and enter my server into the scanner it shows the channels and who is in them, yes.

Then it must be something with your server web server that is wrong or maybe the connection to it.

Maybe fsockopen is blocked. A lot of webhosters do that now.

Thank you Brain, I have me web host working on the problem right now. I dont receive any kind of error using nicklash's script about fsock not being open. When I contacted them they asked me to open a ticket with the ip address of the teamspeak server and the ports I needed open So I'm assuming this is a firewall problem on their end.
Do you know off hand what file I should point my TS webpost to using nicklash's php script ? I.E. do I want the webpost to go to /ts2.php or /ts2info.php ?
I installed gryphons script last night just to see if that would work and I have no problem running the scripts on me host they just dont show any server information.
Thanks for all the help guys

Yeah, I got this too....
...right a carbon-copy as above... That is, tsviewer.de works fine but as I install the standard and the extended version of tsviewer on my webhost it does not work... And phpinfo won't list anything like fsock
...
Any clues?
I also wonder about this:
Howcome it is completely left out in all howto's ???1. Is there an explanation anywhere on how to set up webpost. All the links in the help files are non working, and there is NO information on what these settinge mean in the manual. i.e. what is the difference between webpost POSTURL and webpost LINKURL ?
