Hi all.
I use teamspeak server as a windows service. I have a router and the 3 ports opened to the machine with the server.
Of course, i have server_windows.exe opened at windowsxp firewall, but i have a question:

Must i open server_windows_service.exe in windows xp firewall too?

I dont have it opened, and the server "sometimes" works fine. I say this, because sometimes people must try to connect three, four or five times until they have a connection. The first times they see an error, but on the fifth they can connect. Both people with router or direct internet connection can connect to my server, and both they see sometimes this error.

I have dinamic IP, but i have studied this, and when they can not connect i have been with the same ip for a long time. The error is not because of an IP change. They use to connect to my server with the teamspeak web server list, and there my IP is ok when they can not connect.

Its strange, because sometimes they can do it at the first try, and sometimes they must try to connect a few times. And i´m thinking about the server_windows_service.exe and the windows xp firewall. Yes, i know, if they can connect one time its not a problem of the firewall, but ......

Another thing ... when they tell me they cn not connect, if i disable the service and start the server (not service) , then they can connect fine.

Thanks ....
