    Timeout on Connect

Whenever me or my brother connect to my server behind the same router and it gives us an instant timeout on connection. But everybody else that connects to it has no problems. Any ideas?

To the original poster: Connect to your local TS Server via the LAN IP instead of the WAN IP.

I have a similar problem but have more details:

    Network Anywhere N041 Linksys Router

    Local IP: 192.168.1.xxx

    Verified with ipconfig -all

Forwarded port 8767 to 8767 TCP and UDP to local address

Forwarded 14534 to 14534 TCP and UDP to local address

Forwarded 51234 to 51234 TCP and UDP to local address

    Started server

    Started client

Connected to server via local IP address. No problem. Works.

Connected to server via WAN IP (dragonpen.dyndns.org). Connects for less than 5 seconds before disconnecting with a timeout error.

Right, but I want others in my game clan to connect to my private home server to chat while we play. I can't exactly do this if we're not on the same LAN.
