Another Solution to Working Behind Router?
OK, after doing everything mentioned in the router guide, AND everything mentioned in the "Some people cannot join" fix, I still had troubles getting people to join. Everytime I completely disconnected my computer from the Internet (Physically pulled the cord), my IP would change. I don't know if I still have a dynamic IP, but I think I have a static because connecting any device to the router will cause an IP conflict and I will be forced to disconnect my computer from the Internet and thereby have to look through a dozen or so IPs before flipping something and randomly getting my TS server to accept all connections. My IP changed again and while I was sifting through my router settings I noticed DMZ. I plugged in my computer's LAN IP, enabled DMZ and BAM! All of a sudden, people could connect again.
My question is this. Is this a permanent fix, or do you think that if I disconnect my computer again, I will go through major troubles before getting my TS server to work? Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Never mind, I got my answer. It seemed to work and then the next day, same problem. I'm looking to make sure I did everything properly in the FAQ. Don't mind this thread until I'm done.Last edited by ShadowFox; 05-04-2006 at 02:37.

If they are closed => yes, that would be a good thing to do

The good thing:
The following thread contains a link to a page which deals exactly with that problem and has a collection for several HW devices, you just have to read it:
