    Access violation at address 0044F050

Here's an interesting bug. (Yes, I searched the forums for it, but I didn't find anything, or I didn't look hard enough ).

    Quick specs:
Win2kPro SP3 and all critical patches on PII 333MHz (my work PC, BTW )
    Using DirectSound in TS2.

    Fire up Windows Client v2.0.26.27.

Do NOT connect to any servers, just fire up the client and leave it open, not minimized.

Bring mouse cursor down to system tray, which is setup to auto-hide.

Error message pops up just as the tray pops up, TS2 still running, though. Close error dialog and repeat. Each time it errors.

Minimized, it does the same thing.

If you need more specifics, let me know.

Below are some debug logs (Sorry for blowing out the margins. I wanted to post the log in the thread for future searches):

    Lightbulb

A little more info about the bug:

It's now doing this on my lab's WinXPPro system. Maybe a security patch that M$ released is causing this (Strictly a guess).

    QUICK FIX!

To keep this from happening, tell TS NOT to minimize to the system tray. To do this:

In TSClient, go to Settings, Options, Other and remove the checkmark next to Show Icon in traybar. Problem no longer exists.
