Recieving sound output stops after variable amount of time. Please Help.
Hi,
I'm having a problem with team speak that the audio turns off (recieving) after awhile and then I have to restart it. People can hear me and my mp3s work with winamp while this happens. I change rooms to verify that the sound has gone out. Nobody else on server is having this issue. I usually like to use my webcam mic as it seems to be better quality and then push to talk. I may buy a headset in the future. Any clue as to what might be causing this it is quite annoying. Any help greatly appreciated.
Client version: 2.0.32.60 windows
Server version: 2.0.20.1 linux
My configuration is as follows:
Creative labs Audigy 1
Logitech 4000 webcam with mic also have cheap mic for sound card
ASUS A7V333 Motherboard
AMD 2000+ XP
ASUS V8440 vid (geforce 4)
3com 10/100 nic tx
2x512MB corsair XMS 3200 ram
Software that could maybe be causing conflict:
Trend Micro Corporate Office Scan 2003 version (thinking of shuting this down for awhile)
Winamp latest version
mIRC latest version
Firefox 1.5.0.3
Common M$ apps

Interesting note.
Not sure if it will be fixed but I went into settings>options and changed Output Device from "Primary Sound Driver" to "SB Audigy Audio [FF60]". So this fixed it or was like a reset. The bad news as when I switched it back to "Primary Sound Driver" is also worked. I think this is a bug or confilcting hardware/software I'm leaning toward bug since winamp works while out and other audio programs have no problems.
I'm not sure if I keep it on "SB Audigy Audio [ff60]" if it will happen again. Feel free to leave thoughts I will post again if goes out again. Either way so you can better support other users.
