    Codec

I just setup a server for my guild and I am having a hard time converting people. The feed back was that the sound quality wasnt as good as skypes. So I did a google search and found that Skype uses ISAC codec how does TS's codec compare to this one?

Less quality and less bandwidth usage.

There are several codecs to use. I suggest expermenting until you find one that sounds best on your systems and connections. My server/channel is set to use speex 19.5kb. Set the server to use all codecs. Login as a SA with the permission to edit channel codecs. Now, change the codec until you find one that sounds good. Why not just use the hignest one? Well, if you system isn't acient and you are not on a dial up conneciton you should be able to.

Yeah after doing a search I found that out. I do have my server set to 25.9 and to me that good enough but to my new members that used Skype it isn't. That was the reason for my search. Is there a way I can verify the client is connecting at the set codec?
