Multiple Push to Talk Buttons
It would be great if you can implement more than one push to talk button. My current push to talk button is on my mouse but there are times when playing battlefield 2 where both my hand will be using my keyboard (Flying a helicoptor or jet). This compromises my ability to speak with my team.
Even though my mouse is programable, there are little button avaible that i can use that would not interfere with my daily activities unless i can have more than one push to tak button, one i would use exclusively for ingame purposes that would not interfere with my daily activites. I have tried using my programable keys on my Logitech G15 keyboard, but TS refuses to recongnise them.
So basically, it would be effcient to have more than one push to talk keys. Logitech G15 Keyboard compatibility would also be nice.

I have found that the greatest asset of teamspeak is voice activation. If you can tweak it and set it up correctly it is awsome.

You can also create a bind that whispers to the channel you're in with another key combination. It's what we use to have a raidleader talk to 5 channels at once, while the rest only talks to the channel.

All agreed with Veggi, it is awesome, just set it up correctly and stuff, and wham!, it's good.

Voice Activation is great and all unless like Rofl_My_Waffle, when playing BF2. I have my scroll key for push to talk on my mouse. But BF2 has its own built in VoIp with 2 different channels 1.Squad talk(which I have one my sidebuttons on mouse and another on my Joystick) 2.Squad leaders can chat with Team Commanders again( I have another one my sidebuttons on mouse and another on my Joystick). The only reason Voice Act. doenst work this way is if your on a TS server with people on both teams they can hear you talk to other people in the game.
So having a Primary and Secondary push to talk would be great

Hi New Here however I do agree I am currently looking for a way of comunication with my members who are normally all in different little groups in BF2.
I have the problem of children who dont stay quiet while i am playing and voice activation means no one can use teamspeak if i am in there. and the server and two other machines are very loud in the little room i am in.
Plus I sometimes need to reply but have to let go of the joystick and hit the button on my mouse to speak and down comes the plane crashing into everyone I wanted to talk to.
I would like to see the TS system accept standard inputs from std joystick buttons. and then have a push to talk on the mouse or keyboard as well.

19-06-2006, 22:47 #8I just went into teamspeak and binded the + key to mute and unmute my microphone whenever I press it. So whenever I want to talk in-game and not have TS people hear I just press the + key.

Ok good idea Veggii but does your volume continue to go up as your talking?? Alot of the times you need both hands on the stick(no pun intended) especially in a helo.

You setup a keybinding to whisper when you press 1+X+]. Then you turn around and program your G15 profile(s) so that G1 presses 1+X+].
Viola! You're using your G15 keys for PTT (or in this case, channel whisper).

23-06-2006, 21:25 #11Totally random thought, but, since the issue is typing up both of your hands (and all of your mouse/gamepad/joystick) buttons. . .
