[Ts2] Linux Server Binary BETA 2.0.23.2

    Hi there,

I'm happy to inform you that a new TeamSpeak 2 server binary is available for Linux.

The new version deals with the following issues:

    - web administration interface bans your IP address for 10 minutes after 3 failed login attempts
    - fixed crashes which occured on serverstop commands via HTTP or TCP queries
    - fixed a bug where clients got a timeout on serverstop commands

Please note that this version also contains all bugfixes that were previously released in Linux binaries (2.0.21.3, 2.0.22.1, 2.0.22.2 and 2.0.22.3). Due to liability reasons we recommend the use of this version.

You can find the new release on our Downloads page.

I keep getting the same MD5 checksum (9ae4c0cf3ddf6f8e887c0e683781bf75).

    I get the following:
    de61bbf3ce6628b9840997792043fc04 *server_linux

I've already downloaded the file multiple times. And I also tried switching OS (WinXP/Ubuntu)
    Same results everytime.

Updated md5sum and sha1sum (both did not match the file) of both the client and the server binary recently released.

Scp: please check your hashing tool, it seems to be broken?

Yes it is. But why the hell do you need 1700 channels on the same virtual server?

    i have 4 virtual servers on this machine: 1700 + 300 + 570 + 42 channels

and this number is lower now heaheah... after we make a big organization on the create channels privilegies. Always run 100%.

this limit will be unlocked on final version?

Unfortunately not. The hard-coded channel limitation has been introduced with version 2.0.22.1 because some users experienced timeout problems when connecting to a server with too many channels.

    Hi,

Child threads of a process are found under the parent process and are shown with the process name in curly braces, e.g.

    icecast2---13*[{icecast2}]
    Viel Spass damit.
