Full screen apps (games) do not work correctly when TS is running
I am running TS on the on-board (Asus A8N SLi SE) soundcard (AC-97) and everything else on the SB Audigy SE 7.1. So in game sound runs seperately through that.
TS works with no problems at all from the desktop with no games running. However when I run any of the games I have I get varying problems with them all, from straight crashes to graphical anomalies, or even loss of game control (such as being able to click buttons in game etc.).
Seperately everything works fine, but when trying to run games and TS together problems occur. I am not sure if others have the same problem as the simiar threads all seem slightly different or specific in terms of the games they have trouble with.
My sysem is only a few months old and I have all the latest drivers.
The games I have tried in an offline capacity are the following:
- GTA: Vice City
- GTA: San Andreas
- Max Payne 2
- Battlefield 2
- Battlefield Vietnam
- Battlefield 1942
- Prey Demo
- Medal of Honor AA
These all give problems as shown above. I have tried various configurations with TS, such as swapping between DirectSound and Wave, but to no avail. If I am missing something simple, annoying as it may be i think i could live with it, then all will be well.
Obviously I am seeking a resolution to this problem, so any help or suggestions would be more than useful.
If this has been covered elsewhere with a solution, my apologies, but I did look at many threads and could find none suitable to my situation.

See our Download-Section for new updates.
Your client is not up to date. So please, update it on the new beta ( 2.0.33.7 BETA ).
... And then try again.

You have to replace the old binary by the new one you've downloaded.
