Remote Server Installation
hello i have recently been trying to install and run TS server on a web host i have, but i am woundering if there is any way to run the TS server without actually being at the terminal, ie is there a web baised installation/start/stop
ok so i was able to dload the linux vertion of TS Server, i also uploaded it to the web server i am trying to install it to, then i extracted it, but i am haveing problems figureing out how to get that linux command line every one keeps referanceing......Last edited by rowdan; 02-11-2006 at 19:35.

If you have a web-only account (no shell access), your provider will most likely not appreciate it if you're trying to run other services there, but apart from that :
You will need shell access to run the teamspeak server on your server. Adapt the configfile to your needs and run the following command in the TSS directory :
btw : How did you extract the files on the server without shell access? Did you install a webshell (php/perl-program?) Or did you upload the extracted files?Code:teamspeak@yourserver:~/tss$ ./teamspeak2-server_startscript start
