    Failed Connection (not a firewall)

    [15:24:21] No reply from server
    Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it

    Here are some factoids..

I have already had someone else connect to said server.
This happens when I try to connect to any server.
My hardware (router) is not blocking any ports etc.
I booted in safe mode so there were no programs interfering and still got this error.
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled TS.
TS was working fine with this server and others about a week ago.
Oh yea, my port and addy are correct and I have tried both the server name and IP, neither of which work..
I can also connect to their ventrilo server hosted by the same site.

Are you in control of your network, or are you on someone else's network? (IE - university, work, etc).

In the latter case it's possible someone has blocked port 8767.

In the former case, I don't have any good guesses, short of a software firewall, which you claim you don't have.

I have a software firewall but the TS ports are permitted. As far as network control its my house and no one besides me in my family even knows how to access the router.

Assuming all your hardware (and firewall software) is working correctly, and you're connecting to a server outside your LAN - there shouldn't be *any* configuration you have to do.

The only thing I can think of, short of a hardware/software issue, is if your ISP is for some reason blocking traffic outbound on port 8767.

I checked with the family and no one has changed the Router since when it worked, so unless its randomly changing on it's own it has to be the ISP which makes no sense.

    Some ISP's do block ports

But it is usually for BitTorrent and P2P applications

Well my friend has been torrenting on my connection. That could have something to do with it maybe..
