i know how do it for routers and non routers

i know how to do the windows server ok 2 things first you go to http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm then you find your router then you set up the router to the one on the side then go to http://www.dyndns.com/ you make account then download DynDNS Updater then on the website you go to my services then you always add host services
and Add Dynamic DNS Host your ip changes all the time so you new this program to set it up and it took me only 45 mins with help from my bother but the time is not bad cuz i was working on ti for 3 days so anyway the pick the hostname your ip you don't need a wildcard then add host now the program you intall with tell you want to do remember that you need your user name and password from dyndns website and to see if its working open the Command Prompt then just say ping yourhost.kicks-ass.org if your get a the ping return then its working

and hey just don't give up because thats what the host servers want you to do so you will just pay them your money pre month lol i did for css for my clan and its free 64slot server running on a old p4 1.6gh 512mb and 40gb winxp i hope this helps
