One person can't connect
Ive set up my server on windows xp and have my router (verizon dlink 624) properly set up. Everyone can connect except for one guy who lives in australia. We havent been able to figure it out at all. He was able to connect once yesterday, but now he cant again. Ive tried several things ive read here including configing his router, restarting mine and my server, and setting his client to debug mode. Its this one guy alone who is having trouble. he can connect to other servers but not mine. im realy at a loss to explain why this is happening. Even stranger is he can access my personal web server which is mapped over a high number port like teamspeak, so his computer can talk to my computer.
edit: ive found that restarting my router allows him to connect. now i have to wonder, why would my router just block him. the router log doesnt list his ip-addy in its log...Last edited by carterhawk; 31-01-2007 at 02:31.
