Check to make sure you haven't got a fault with your microphone, and if you haven't make sure in the Team Speak Channel you are in, right-click your Name and select the Mute/Unmute option, just to make sure that it isnt occasionly muting.

I don't know what kind of sound card you have (whether it be an on-board or an actual card) but some cards that you buy come with software to let you manipulate the sound. Among the various options there might be one called "what you hear". So your microphone outputs anything that you hear. So if you had music playing and you try to talk, they should hear music. This might be the case.
Another thought is make sure you have microphone selected under your sound options for windows. You can get there by Start > control panel > sound and audio devices. Under the volume tab hit Advanced under the "device volume"
A window should of popped up with a bunch of sliders that you can slide up and down. Go to options > properties > and select Recording options. Below that make sure that Microphone is checked as one of your options. Then click okay. Now you should have different slider bars. Make sure that you have microphone selected and that the slider is not all the way down.
If those don't work you can try opening up your TS. going to Settings > options and you can try changing your device options at the bottom if you have another option.
And then i'm out of ideas.

Same Problem
I seem to have the same problem. Have tried the fixes mentioned here and done a lot of misc troubleshooting. Running Windows Vista Home Premium. The mic works fine - I hear teammates just fine but no ability to communicate back. I have tried to do a test record on the TS site and I get no playback. Test record on vista does just fine. Any other thoughts?

UPDATE
OK - I fixed the problem. It was a driver issue. To fix I unistalled Teamspeak, updated the sound card driver from Dell (soundcard is a Creative product) as well as the other recommended Drivers. I then reinstalled Team speak and tested it on one of the sites here. Make sure to click on the voice channel on the test server to see if it works. I tried about everything possible with mic settings, etc and it was the driver all along.Last edited by fourfish; 28-11-2008 at 15:55. Reason: Solution Found

I am running XP and seem to be having the same problem but I got that message about a hawl library hvd something on voice missing......but I cant even reinstal TS because it will not completely uninstal but says it doesn't exists. Drivers is what I was thinking as well but I am still messed up.......playing the game I hear everyone but my mic just shows a light no sound. All settings the same as you checked, tests says system is working ok.
I am so frusrated...... Our squad has used TS forever and the guy running the server is a smart guy and even he is stumped on this...... I had CIs just before the TS messed up.....maybe from a update but settings didnt looked changed.
I am lost too.

Wow, sorry to bother you. I thought it was a simple question, My password is not being accepted. I can't log in as a registered user. It's driving my team mates nuts, it's not a problem for me. Sorry to be a bother.

You said that you can hear the team but can not transmit. Then say that you can not even connect to the server. See what I am getting at?
Make sure that your login information is correct(case matters) and that you are entering the data as a registered user and not anonymous

C:\documents and settings\username\Application Data\local\Teamspeak\teamspeak.config
Has your settings.
What do you hear when you do a local test?
Check your volume settings.

Is it still giving you the error about the dll when after you have insfalled it?
