I dont think killing yourself will help the problem

Can you post your server.ini and give us some more information about your setup

If your on XP, you may need to disable/allow TS to pass through the firewall

Have you tryed putting the server computers IP in the DMZ of your router to see if that works? Be very cautious if you do this. Do you have 'any' type of 3rd party firewall such as nortons? Have you checked the XP firewall and allowed teamspeak as an exception?

Have u got a router or what modem have u got?

Sounds like you havent oopened a port some where. check your firewalls and router settings if u have one.

You dont need to the bound to ip, just leave it blank.

If all this fails then its probly just windows acting normal.

You do not have to bound to IP's if you only have one WAN IP.

    Maybe the server is offline

Can you connect usen the LAN IP address.

If not then the problem is most likely on the computer your hoesting it on.

What firewall are you useing, becuase on windows some firewalls dont actuallly turn off when you tell them to. This is one of the many reasons why I hate windows.

i recieve the same error message about four seconds after i attempt to connet to the LAN server, but i have no yet confirmed that this is also the case for others trying to connect from the WAN IP.

    --EDIT--

sorry i simply incorrectly did the BoundToIp1 thing in the server configuration file.

    --EDIT--

yep same problem. cant connect through WAN IP.

What firewall do you have and what are they settings?

What router do you have and what are their settings?

These are the things that get the most of the people when they setup a server.
