    Question Changing the password with SA

    How can someone with standard SA credentials change the overall password for a TS server?

    I thought you had to be Super SA, but recently one of the admins with only SA credentials changed the password, he had permission, but I'm just wondering how he did it.

    Thanks in advance!

    *Bump*

    Does no one know how to change the main password for a TS server with only SA credentials?

    Yes. Got to the webadmin or telnet to change it. This is under the server settings option.

    What is the Telnet command to change the overall password? I cannot find it in any manual or tutorial.

    I can log onto TS through Telnet and successfully execute a lot of commands, but what is the command to change the password?

    Also what is the command to change things like Server Welcome Message? (via Telnet)

    Commands to use. If you do not know how to use them then type "help <command>"

    slogin=>sel=>serverset

    Ah, but slogin is just for Super SA (SSA)... and my original post was that how can a SA (ie. not a SSA) change the password.

    I know it's possible, I've seen it done, but I don't know how.

    I cannot execute any serverset commands using only SA credentials.

    Then he used the webpanel. I am just used to logging in with SA all of the time.
