TS server on web hosting

Hi!
(yes i read other similar posts & FAQ)
I setup a linux TS server on my hosting.
The server is started and I can access webinterface,
but when i try to connect to TS using a TS client i get a server not running error.
I used few different ports:
the default port server starts. but I can't access it
tried some other ports on which the server either starts or not.
so do web hosting companies allow to connect to their servers ?
talked to a friend who runs TS server, he says that everything should be working.

UPDATE: talked to this friend he can access my server:
ulikus.com server password 142536
while me & my other friend can't any ideas?

If it's a shared webhost, make sure that the hosting company has the ports for everything (TCP Query, Web interface, and server ports) fowarded to your account. Just ask them to foward them and it should work.

ok i put my server Ip into boundtoip field and now it works.
so everything seems fine!
thx for help btw, but its nice that it wasnt needed to contact hoster for all that stuff
