mic troubles
when i go on TS nobody can hear me, some people can but only very faintly if they have headphones. I am on windows xp and have sigmatel audio. I can't really figure it out and have tried going through your forums but can't find any thing on it.
i thought at first it was because i didnt have the mic box checked but instead i find out i dont have one at all, i only have 4 other boxes besides the regular volume control one: wave, sw synth, cd player, and input moniter. help please

Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Controls>Advanced>Options>Propertes>Recording(Make sure all boxes are ticked)>OK>Tick the One for microphone>make sure the volume is all the way up> click advanced and you can turn on mic boost.

may seem silly, but make sure your mic jack is plugged in.
