Recording audio disconnect

Every time i want to record audio i'm disconnected from the server.

When I choose Recording > Start Recording , i'm disconnected, with the message "Recording is not allowed"

My chan is on TSKlan server, can this be a due to tsklan specific limitation on their servers ?
It does the same when if i use TS2 or TS3 beta.

yes it is a serverside setting, dont record and you dont get kicked.

about the last sentence, do you mean when you use TS3 Beta or by the time TS3 is out..?
If the first, All the long lasting members here have doen soemthign wrong with not knowing about the 3beta... As it is still in Internal Testing Alpha or some thing like that.

i use TS2RC2 in most of the case. Sometimes i try TS3beta (revised 3.01.06) to see if it does exactly the same than with ts2 or if it have more options, but i prefer use the stable release for my everyday team speaking.
I get it from the web some place i don't remember

The TS2perlmod allows to the option to kick people who record.

FYI: TS3 is not out yet. If you are downloading it, it is a hacked ts2 and you better scan it for viruses.

i will follow your advice, even i doubt it's hacked, there's no basic options i could use that are not in v2... thank you for your help. the thread can be closed i think.

Take Kai's and my advice, ditch the 3, because it is not out at all! Whoever says it is TS3 beta is a lier and probably also has all your passwords due to trojan etc build into it.
If you cannot get TS3 beta on this site it is not available, period.

For your sake's i hope youtake our advice and change all your passwords. All versions that are downloaded from somewere else then here are msot lieky infected with trojans and viruses.
